Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Lost Ark Bot (Discord application ID 506719903991070720), also presented as MiscBot, including its Discord features and web dashboard. By installing, authorizing, accessing, or using the application, you agree to these terms. If you use the application for a Discord server, you represent that you have authority to act for that server.

Eligibility and Discord rules

You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement and be legally permitted to use the application. Your use of Discord remains subject to Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and other applicable Discord policies.

The service

The application provides community utilities, commands, moderation case management, automated moderation, anti-spam and anti-scam controls, member-risk detection, quarantine and role-restoration tools, ban appeals, and a restricted staff dashboard. Features may differ by server configuration, Discord permissions, and the access granted to a user or staff member.

Server administration and permissions

Server owners and administrators are responsible for configuring the application, granting only the permissions required for selected features, informing their community about applicable server rules, and ensuring that staff use moderation and data-access features appropriately. Installing the application authorizes it to perform configured actions within the permissions granted through Discord.

Moderation and enforcement

The application may automatically delete messages, restrict roles, quarantine, timeout, kick, ban, log incidents, or notify staff when configured rules or risk thresholds are met. Automated results can be imperfect and may be reviewed or reversed by authorized community staff. Access to the application or particular features may be limited or terminated when necessary to enforce these terms, protect users, comply with Discord requirements, or secure the service.

Privacy

Use of the application is also governed by the Lost Ark Bot / MiscBot Privacy Policy, which explains what data is processed, why it is used, how long it is retained, and how to request deletion.

Third-party services

The application depends on Discord and may use hosting, database, game-information, translation, or other third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. Lost Ark Bot / MiscBot is a community-operated application and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Discord Inc., Amazon Games, or Smilegate RPG.

Availability and changes

The application is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued, including because of maintenance, security concerns, platform changes, or legal requirements. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, preservation of every record, or compatibility with every server configuration.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the application is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of access, moderation decisions made by server staff, or service interruptions arising from use of or inability to use the application. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the application, applicable law, or platform requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when revised terms are published. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
